Arturs ‘’Mr.Boga’’ Bogdanovics - skateboarder and photography enthusiast making these two passions run side by side. By mixing analog and digital photography, Arturs’ photos of live skateboarding, introduce different characters, express positive emotions, and define the joy of life. His captures often send a message and/or tell a story - it’s either written down or hidden in the concept of the photo.

 

‘’In 2022 I was lucky enough to travel the world quite a bit; thanks to skateboarding! But of course I had my camera gear with me all the time and was able to collect lots of good moments. I had wonderful trips and each of them got me tripping out at one point or another. People usually trip out on drugs; well - my drugs are skateboarding and photography.

I would like to share some of these captures with my audience in real life. Some of it you might have already seen for a glimpse in your little smartphone screens, but now it's time to have a closer look at the large print.

Another reason for this is the fact that I like it when all of you guys gather together and we create a priceless atmosphere.

So let's do that once again on January 26th, 2023 as a part of Riga Last Thursdays and in the cozy space of M/Darbnīca. I hope this will be one of the first agendas you're about to note in your new planners that you got yourselves on Christmas.’’
