LV// 16. augustā sadarbībā ar M/Darbnīcu M/Gallery aizvadīja Montas Kurmes un latviešu grupas “The Coco’nuts” izstādes “Mūsu Zeme” atklāšanu.
Atklāšanas vakars bija ne vien izstādes svinības, bet galvenokārt grupas “The Coco’nuts” mūzikas videoklipa prezentācija dziesmai ar tādu pašu nosaukumu - “Mūsu Zeme”.
Pēc darbīgas divu dienu gatavošanās galerija sveica apmeklētājus multimediālā uzstādījumā, kas ieskauts dabas elementos. Izstādē iespējams apskatīt mūzikas video, cianotipijas tehnikā veidotus attēlus, kā arī lielformāta kadru izdrukas no mūzikas videoklipa.
M/Gallery vēlas izteikt īpašu paldies Montai Kurmei un Tomam Valmieram par radošo galerijas iekārtojumu. Mums bija prieks sadarboties ar abiem māksliniekiem un ceram, ka viņu darbi un mūzika spēs iedvesmot citus tikpat ļoti, kā tie iedvesmoja mūs!

ENG// On August 16th in collaboration with M/Darbnica, M/Gallery hosted the opening of the exhibition “Mūsu Zeme” by Monta Kurme and the Latvian band “The Coco’nuts”.
The opening night was not only a celebration of a new exhibition but most importantly the presentation of The Coco’nuts new music video for the song titled “Mūsu Zeme”.
After two days of diligent preparation the gallery welcomed the viewers into a multimedia setting surrounded by touches of nature. The exhibition features a video, images made in cyanotype technique and bigger format shots from the video.
M/Gallery wants to dedicate a special thanks to Monta Kurme and Toms Valmiers for the creative arrangement of the gallery. It was a pleasure working with them and we hope their work and music can inspire others as much as us!
